The Redmi 9 is probably the newest model in the ever-popular vanilla Redmi range, which was launched in late 2021. Like all the other models in the range, it has been designed keeping in mind the various needs of a modern man – from those who are looking for high performance but at reasonable prices to those who want the latest in fashion without breaking their budget. Since I own one myself, I decided to buy a Redmi 9 online and see what it’s all about.
In terms of specs, the Redmi 9 scores well against its competitors. It comes with a full QWERTY keyboard, a fingerprint scanner, a neat sliding cover and an excellent battery life, enabling you to use it for long hours without worrying about losing any keys or getting a dead battery. In my opinion, the best part is that all these key components come in a single package, allowing you to save even more money and get a great product.
For the screen, the redmi 9 comes with an LED-lit 5.5-inch HD display, which is one of the sharpest you’ll find on a smartphone these days. The color accuracy and brightness of the screen are both very good, and you can expect no crackle, skipping or dimness even if you use the phone in direct sunlight for a long time. The screen is also touch responsive, with no noticeable lag when using it. The result of this is a very vibrant screen that looks great in pictures and videos and is just as clear when playing high definition video games. If you need a smartphone with high-end performance, the redmi 9 lives up to its promise. Redmi 9
The powerful yet low-priced handset comes with a respectable amount of RAM, giving it a leg up on any other smartphone. The four GB of RAM provided by the redmi 9 could be sufficient for all but the most demanding of mobile users, and it helps that it comes preinstalled with Windows, so it’s ready to go right out of the box. You don’t have to go out and buy a separate card – you can install Windows on the device itself, making it extremely easy to get things running. There is also a nice selection of add-ons, including an excellent video editor, so this should be a popular choice with a lot of people.
The next phone to go in our review is the Nokia E71, a mid-range offering from Finland. Like the Redmi 9, the E71 offers a large and colorful screen, but it has a few different features to make it a unique smartphone. The biggest difference, of course, is in size, coming in at only 2.4 inches in screen size. The other big difference is in the internal setup, with the E71 packing a quad-core Helio G80 Octa-core processor and a generous amount of RAM. This is one of the most powerful smartphones you can get your hands on, and if you’re looking for a high performance smartphone with a huge screen, then the Nokia E71 is definitely worth checking out.
Finally, we take a look at the Redmi Note 2, which trades the large screen for a more compact design. The result is a smartphone that feels much like a smaller version of the iPhone, but with all the benefits of a touch screen for added functionality. Android enthusiasts will no doubt appreciate the fact that this phone has a very snappy interface, especially compared to its competitors. However, it’s important to note the low price point – the Note 2 is not the most powerful device on the market, but it comes extremely close, thanks to a powerful and useful set of features. If you want a mid-budget smartphone with everything you’d expect from an iPhone, the Redmi Note 2 is an excellent choice.
